1️⃣4️⃣ | It's the 14th, so let's highlight Number 14 in the Class of 2026! Olivia Travis plans to attend SUNY Oneonta in the fall to study Early Childhood Education. She is a member of National Honor Society, New Visions Education Academy, volunteers at the Broome County Humane Society, and is a dancer! She encourages new BHS students to step out of their comfort zone and take advantage of new opportunities. Congratulations, Olivia! #BPatriotProud

1️⃣5️⃣ | Today's Top 25 spotlight is Bonham Vymislicky, who graduates 15th in the Class of 2026! He'll attend Binghamton University in the fall to study Business Administration-Finance. Bonham says visiting Washington, D.C. was a highlight of his time as a BHS student. His advice for future Binghamton students: don't let the stress of school take away from everything that is enjoyable about BHS. Congratulations, Bonham! #BPatriotProud

1️⃣6️⃣ | Our Top 25 countdown continues with Number 16, Thalia Beauzile! Outside of the classroom, Thalia was a member of SAAD, Mock Trial, Orchestra, & NYML Mathletes. She will attend Binghamton University in the fall to study biochemistry as she pursues a career as a cosmetic chemist! A full IB student, Thalia says being surrounded by a goal-oriented student body helped motivate her. Congratulations, Thalia! #BPatriotProud

🎓 | Today's Senior Spotlight is Francis-Gemawry Orion! Francis plans to study mechanical engineering in the fall. He was a three-sport athlete at Binghamton High School, lettering in soccer, swim, and baseball. Off the field, he was involved in My Brother's Keeper, the Harper Stantz Community Clean-Up, & BHS Thanksgiving Dinner. He says the pep rally during sophomore year was one of his favorite memories at the high school. Congratulations, Francis! #BPatriotProud

1️⃣7️⃣ | Francis Otero graduates 17th in the Binghamton High School Class of 2026! A talented vocalist, she sang in four of the BHS vocal groups and earned All-State honors for her singing. Francis was also a Project Lead the Way Pre-Engineering Academy student and will attend RIT in the fall to study electrical engineering technology. She encourages new BHS students to meet lots of new people & to always ask questions. Congratulations, Francis! #BPatriotProud

1️⃣8️⃣ | Congratulations to Christopher Somers who graduates 18th overall in the Binghamton High School Class of 2026! Christopher will attend Binghamton University in the fall. As a four-year Varsity Soccer player and Captain of the team, he says his favorite memory at BHS is winning the school's first-ever Section IV Soccer Championship. A simple message from Christopher to new BHS students: always try your best! #BPatriotProud

👏 | At last night's Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Dr. Tonia Thompson presented several Patriot Pride Awards. These awards are given to individuals within out school community who exemplify what it means to #BPatriotProud. Congratulations to BHS SRO Manny Leon-Martinez, Student Board Representative Samantha Dalmolen, the Girls Varsity Flag Football team, and the Patriots Unified Basketball team!

This year ENL teacher Ms. Chen led the first-ever Asian Cultural Club field trip at BHS! 27 students traveled to NYC for the 2026 Japan Parade, where they experienced a meaningful cultural exchange, celebrated Japanese traditions, and enjoyed some amazing Japanese food! #BPatriotProud

🎓 | Double the Senior Spotlight! Ava & Emma Sager are headed to SUNY Broome next year where they will both be on the Hornets Cheer team. Ava will pursue a career in nursing, while Emma studies to be a physical therapist. Congratulations, Ava & Emma! #BPatriotProud

2️⃣0️⃣ | We continue our Top 25 countdown with Number 20 in the Class of 2026 - Ivelissia Nunez-Thongthip! Ivelissia was a member of the lacrosse & cheer teams while also participating in National Honor Society, SADD, & Student Government. She plans to attend the University at Albany in the fall to study nursing. She reminds future students at BHS the importance of being kind to everyone! Congratulations, Ivelissia! #BPatriotProud

🎓 | Senior Spotlight! Dominic Geertgens is entering the workforce after graduation and is pursuing a career as a lighting technician for stage tours! Dominic worked tech crew for every Helen Foley Theatre stage production during his four years at BHS while also participating in band. He says a favorite memory is DJing the 2024 After Prom Party! Congratulations, Dominic! #BPatriotProud

🔬 | The return of the Science Fair to BHS! More than 70 students presented shared their findings with judges from Binghamton University, SUNY Broome, Syracuse University, Johns Hopkins University and the community. Their presentations were part of their Project-Based Learning Assessments. Impressive work from our students! #BPatriotProud

2️⃣1️⃣ | Today's BHS Top 25 graduate is number 21, Faith Haile! Faith plans to go to college to study nursing in fall. She performed in orchestra & band during her time at Binghamton, as well as worked on the stage crew for theater productions. She encourages future BHS students to take full advantage of the amazing Library Media Center & its resources; she also says: "although academics are highly important, grades do not define you. If you fail one test, it is okay to dwell, but remember to dust it off and try again for the next one." Congratulations, Faith! #BPatriotProud
