🔬 | The return of the Science Fair to BHS! More than 70 students presented shared their findings with judges from Binghamton University, SUNY Broome, Syracuse University, Johns Hopkins University and the community. Their presentations were part of their Project-Based Learning Assessments. Impressive work from our students! #BPatriotProud
2️⃣1️⃣ | Today's BHS Top 25 graduate is number 21, Faith Haile! Faith plans to go to college to study nursing in fall. She performed in orchestra & band during her time at Binghamton, as well as worked on the stage crew for theater productions. She encourages future BHS students to take full advantage of the amazing Library Media Center & its resources; she also says: "although academics are highly important, grades do not define you. If you fail one test, it is okay to dwell, but remember to dust it off and try again for the next one." Congratulations, Faith! #BPatriotProud
🏃♀️💨 | This week, Eva DiNunzio Welch became the first girls distance runner in school history to win three individual Section IV titles! The feat was accomplished Wednesday at the State Qualifier at UE when she set a school record & finished first in the 800M with a time of 2:18.54. Congratulations, Eva! #BPatriotProud
⚛️ | Nuked with knowledge! Mr. Comer, who worked for the US Government for more than 20 years in nuclear energy visited Ms. Charsky's chemistry class Thursday. He spoke to students about how nuclear power plants work, how neutrons are used in nuclear fission reactions, and answered their questions. #BPatriotProud
2️⃣2️⃣ | Number 22 in the Binghamton High School Class of 2026 Top 25 is Finch Leeson-Schatz! Finch plans to attend the University of Galway to study clinical psychology and Celtic studies in the fall. They participated in dance & debate during their time at Binghamton High School. Finch's advice for new BHS students: Binghamton has so many outstanding programs, take advantage of all the opportunities the school has. Congratulations, Finch! #BPatriotProud

2️⃣3️⃣ | Say 'hello' to Etana Murray, number 23 in Binghamton High School's Top 25 graduating seniors! From athletics & fine arts,to STEM activities & volunteering, Etana has been involved in a little bit (sometimes a LOTTA bit) of everything at BHS. She'll attend Daemen University in the fall where she plans to study childhood education & play volleyball for the Wildcats. She says Binghamton opened her up to many opportunities & has helped her value different perspectives in her day to day life. Congratulations, Etana! #BPatriotProud

❤️🤍💙 | For years, students, staff, & visitors at Binghamton High School were greeted by Tony Stento's smiling face (and usually a Lifesaver or Fireball candy). More than six years after his passing, his memory lives on at BHS & was made permanent yesterday with the unveiling of a memorial bench in his honor. Thank you to Tony's wife and four daughters for joining us on this special day, along with his grandchildren, friends, and former coworkers. And yes - everyone got Lifesavers & Fireballs, just like Tony would have wanted! #BPatriotProud

If you saw a show or concert at BHS over the past few years, then you've seen Athena perform. She's a member of 13 different performance groups at the high school & has also starred in the plays and musicals! Athena says that she feels that Binghamton has made her a better person & experience things she may not have if she attended a different school. Congratulations, Athena! #BPatriotProud
