He also volunteered his time with the Harper Stantz Clean-Up, voter engagement efforts, and organizing community events. He says being able to help place a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington, VA during a school trip is a memory that he will always carry with him from his time in high school. 🎓 | Armani Torres is today's Senior Spotlight! He's been a member of the Patriots Soccer program since 7th grade and as a senior this year as goalie helped lead the team to its first ever Section IV Championship. Armani has also participated in the PLAAY program since his freshman year helping to mentor the next generation. He intends to spend his summer working for the Summer Fun program through the City of Binghamton and in the fall will attend lineman school and pursue his love for the trades. 1️⃣2️⃣ | Michelle Le is Number 12 in the Class of 2026 Top 25! A talented musician, Michelle was a member of Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Orchestra, & Chamber Orchestra at BHS. She is also a member of Tri-M Music Honor Society & Asian Cultural Club. Michelle plans to attend Binghamton University to study Pharmacy. She played softball as well as performed in our musical groups while at BHS; she says participating in NYSSMA & BCMEA festivals are some of her best memories from high school. 1️⃣3️⃣ | The Top 25 countdown continues with Number 13, Richard Testa! Richard has been a member of just about every performance group at BHS and has had starring roles in the school's theatre productions. Outside of school, he volunteers with Prospect Terrace Fire Department & other local organizations. Richard will attend SUNY Broome in the fall & hopes to transfer to a four-year school to study Musical Theatre. His advice for new BHS students is to get involved in a lot, but make sure you don't overwhelm yourself. Congratulations, Richard! #BPatriotProud

Bonham says visiting Washington, D.C. was a highlight of his time as a BHS student. She will attend Binghamton University in the fall to study biochemistry as she pursues a career as a cosmetic chemist! 🎓 | Today's Senior Spotlight is Francis-Gemawry Orion! Francis plans to study mechanical engineering in the fall. He was a three-sport athlete at Binghamton High School, lettering in soccer, swim, and baseball. Off the field, he was involved in My Brother's Keeper, the Harper Stantz Community Clean-Up, & BHS Thanksgiving Dinner. Francis was also a Project Lead the Way Pre-Engineering Academy student and will attend RIT in the fall to study electrical engineering technology. As a four-year Varsity Soccer player and Captain of the team, he says his favorite memory at BHS is winning the school's first-ever Section IV Soccer Championship. 👏 | At last night's Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Dr. Tonia Thompson presented several Patriot Pride Awards. These awards are given to individuals within out school community who exemplify what it means to #BPatriotProud. This year ENL teacher Ms. Chen led the first-ever Asian Cultural Club field trip at BHS! 27 students traveled to NYC for the 2026 Japan Parade, where they experienced a meaningful cultural exchange, celebrated Japanese traditions, and enjoyed some amazing Japanese food! #BPatriotProud
